I scanned this small booklet by Julius Rodenberg entitled Die Deutsche Schriftgiesserei (Verlag der Gutenberg-Gesellschaft, Mainz, 1927), so that everyone can enjoy. It describes the foundries in Germany in the period between the two world wars. It has many useful comments, and opinions, on numerous typefaces of the time.
