Quadraat (or: RP Type) [Raphael Picard] Quadraat (or: RP Type) is a design studio based in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland), set up by Raphael Picard, a graduate of the School of Applied Arts of la Chaux-de-Fonds (class of 2011), and Julien Méille, who graduated from the School of Applied Arts of la Chaux-de-Fonds in 2007). In 2019, he designed Maxy (2019), a super-extended sans family. In 2021, Rapahel Picard designed Basel Stadt (a wide monolinear experimental sans) and Portland Grotesk (a 4-style wide grotesk).
