AB Studio
[Andreas Brandstetter]
Austrian type designer who founded AB Studio, ca. 2019. In 2019, he released AB One. Initially designed with compass and ruler for titling, this 3-style sans typeface is also useful in other settings. He writes: Its very cinematic and simple look is generated by having no edges in the single letters. The font was designed using a grid, that made it possible to create geometric but very dynamic shapes, influenced by architectural design. In 2020, he released Alore (a thin mini-serifed typeface). |
