Graham Hicks

Graham Hicks Product Designer at Slack in San Francisco, and maker of Emoji Finder. Originally from Connecticut, Graham studied Industrial Design at Carnegie Mellon before spending almost two decades working as a designer in California. For the Type West program, he designed the chunky typeface Clinker (2019), and wrote: Clinker is a chunky display typeface built from thick overlapping strokes. Its misaligned construction leaves gaps at the corners, creating an unusual texture while still remaining readable.
