Toronto, Canada-based designer of Raleigh Regular (1977, Ingrama), a typeface that takes after Carl Dair's Cartier. That typeface was copied (without Anderson's knowledge) and expanded (without italics, though) to a full set of weights by Adrian Williams (ca. 1978), who licensed it to Linotype. Today, Raleigh is sold by Bitstream. Anderson was associated with Toronto's Typsettra, which in 1977 began the design of original typefaces for Berthold, Letraset and ITC. |
