Carl Pracht
Czech designer in 1941-1943 at Joh. Wagner of the display roman typeface Pracht, a hookish creature showing lots of anger. Nick Curtis created the cuddly showcard typeface Pracht Antiqua NF (2010), which is a faithful rendering of Pracht Antiqua Schmallfett, designed by Carl Pracht for Norddeutsche Schriftgießerei in 1942. Stefan Hattenbach's Luminance (2002) is an interpretation of Pracht. |
