Son of Peter Schoeffer, Peter Schoeffer the Younger was a type cutter in Mainz. A blackletter type he cut ca. 1509-1520, and also known as Typ.7:146/148G and as Gesellschaft für Typenkunde plate no. 258, was digitized and extended from 80 to 900 characters by Shane Brandes as Schoeffer (2011).
