The Vietnamese Nôm Preservation Foundation
Founded by John Balaban in 1999, the foundation is in part concerned with the digitization of Nom Script (which in turn was derived from Chinese). Only 30 people worldwide nowadays can read Nom. Most documents in Nom are in a small library in Hanoi. |
