Arno Willy Schumann
Born in 1891 in Leipzig-Gohlis, d. 1970, Leipzig. Designer at Schriftguss in 1927 of the flowing script font Butterfly [Butterfly kräftig was done in 1929]. This was "aped" to some extent by the Amsterdam Foundry in its Gracia. At the same foundry, he designed the script typefaces Troubadour Magere and Halbfette in 1927, as well as Butterfly Halbfette in 1928. |
