Designer of Ivanhoe. It was introduced by Keystone Type Foundry about 1915, a copy of the typeface designed by Edward Shanks for the P. M. Shanks Foundry in England in 1912. McGrew comments: It is a rather neat but undistinguished face, similar to classic fifteenth-century Italian designs. |
