Fernao de Pina
Fernao de Pina was the chancelor responsable for the creation of Leitura Nova, which was a compilation of books (forais) that should establish the privileges of the villages and all their administrative duties, determined by the monarch D. Manuel I of Portugal. Written from 1496 to 1520, Leitura Nova has a regular and uniform gothic that is more cursive and rounded then the German gothics.
