Thaifonts Scalable
A collection of Thai scalable fonts available in free licenses, developed according to the highest standards using Fontforge. Renamed tlwg in 2012. Maintained by Theppitak Karoonboonyanan, Chanop Silpa-Anan, Poonlap Veerathanabutr and Vee Satayamas. The Thai Linux Working Group (TLWG) is behind the project. Fonts (in all desirable formats) include: - Poonlap Veerathanabutr designed the free Thai monospace fonts TlwgMono-Bold, TlwgMono-BoldOblique, TlwgMono-Oblique, TlwgMono, TlwgTypewriter-Bold, TlwgTypewriter-BoldOblique, TlwgTypewriter-Oblique, TlwgTypewriter in 2005. He added the Thai handwriting outline font Purisa (2003-2004), as well as PseudoMono.
- NECTEC put these typefaces in the public domain: Garuda-Bold, Garuda-BoldOblique, Garuda-Oblique, Garuda (2005), Loma-Bold, Loma-BoldOblique, Loma-Oblique, Loma (2003). Garuda is copyright of the Unity Progress Co, and Loma is made by Sirichai Lerdvorawut.
- The National Font Project (Yannis Haralambous, Virach Sornlertlamvanich and Anutara Tantraporn) created these typefaces from 1999-2005: Norasi-Bold, Norasi-BoldItalic, Norasi-BoldOblique, Norasi-Italic, Norasi-Oblique, Norasi.
- DB Type Co created Kinnari.
- Widhaya Trisarnwadhana made Waree and Umpush.
- Tlwg Typist, Tlwg Typo, based on Tlwg Typewriter by Poonlap Veerathanabutr. Thai glyphs designed from scratch by Theppitak Karoonboonyanan.
- Sawasdee by Pol Udomwittayanukul.
- Laksaman: Based on TH Sarabun New by Suppakit Chalermlarp. Modified by Theppitak Karoonboonyanan.
