Ato Yigezu Bisrat Born and died in Addis Ababa, 1926-1979. Educator (at Addis Ababa University), author, and calligrapher, who was frequently called upon by Emperor Haile Selassie for calligraphy and lettering. His Gothic Goffer (blackletter-style) characters were extended into a font by Abbas Alamnehe (2006).
