- UmePlus-Gothic, UmePlus-P-Gothic by Wada Laboratory, University of Tokyo. The Ume fonts were modified by Hiroshi Utumi so that the Latin and kana part are taken from the M+ fonts.
- UmePlus-CL-Gothic, UmePlus-CLP-Gothic by Wada Laboratory, University of Tokyo. The Ume fonts were modified by Hiroshi Utumi so that the Latin and kana part are taken from the M+ fonts.
- KonatuPlus fonts (KonatuPlus Light and KonatuPlus Mono Light) created by Mitiya Masuda and Hiroshi Utumi from Konatu (for kanji) and the M+ family (for Latin and kana).
- M2Ipa-Gothic, M2Ipa-P-Gothic by 1990-2003 Wada Laboratory, University of Tokyo, and the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan. These are modified IPA and M+ fonts for Japanese.
