Susanne Dechant
Susanne Dechant (b. 1962) is a type designer based in Vienna. In 1992 she founded her studio Dechant Grafische Arbeiten, which specializes in typography for book and editorial design. She heads the Department of Graphic Design at the Werbeakademie Wien and lectures at Universität für bildende Künste, Vienna. At ATypI 2008 in St. Petersburg, her talk was entitled 50 women typographers in 50 years of ATypI. |
