Olga Balina New York City (ex-Moscow)-based art director and graphic designer Olga Balina was born in 1988. She is associated with Flëve, a design agency in New York that was founded by Vit Abramov. In 2008, she created Charlotte (Latin&Cyrillic). During her studies at British Higher School of Art & Design in Moscow, she created ALS Meringue (2009, a serif family for Art Lebedev Studio, done with Taisiya Lushenko). In 2009, she also created a dotted line pixel type for FLYmagazine. As a student project at the British Higher School of Art and Design in 2009, she made a Natural Alphabet using stone scratching. Mobispot Regular (2013) is a beautiful contemporary geometric grotesque for Latin and Cyrillic, designed by Olga Balina and Vit Abramov at Flëve for Mobispot Social Systems, a company that creates cool applications for life and business based on NFC technology.
