Mirian Mitsue Yanai

Born in 1987, Mitsue lives in Florianópolis, Brazil. Creator with Saulo Deboni and Silvia Cristina Medeiros of the curly display typeface Franklin Cascaes (2007). This font was inspired by Franklin Cascaes Joaquim (b. 1908, San Jose, d. 1983, Florianopolis), who was a researcher of Azorean culture, folklorist, potter, printmaker and author. Free download.
