Benoît Santiard Graphic designer in Paris, b. 1980. Teacher at the École d'Architecture de la Ville&des territoires in Marne-la-Vallée. Cofounder, with Guillaume Grall, of Building Paris. Creator of the traffic-like sans typeface capitale (2009) for the signage of a concert hall. Werkman Letterpress (2009) is a font designed from letterpress woodblocks. It was inspired by the first issue of the magazine The Next Call (1923) by Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman. UnkleBenz (2009) is based on his own handwriting.
