MyFonts: Best of 2009 MyFonts declares the top 10 fonts of 2009. Formal scripts: Champion Script Pro (Parachute), the year's most successful formal script font, with 4280 glyphs in all. Brush scripts: Liza Pro (Underware). Calligraphic display scripts: Memoriam (Canada Type), used in the December 2008 memorial issue of The New York Times. Festive scripts: Aphrodite Slim Pro (Typesenses). Dingbats: We Love Nature (Kapitza). I personally like their Snow Crystals better. Swirligig style: Narziss (Hubert Jocham), with swashes and ball terminals to turn your head. Victorian/Edwardian look: Ivory (FaceType). Workhorse sans: Alright Sans (Okay Type). Serifed text family: Calluna (Jos Buivenga). Macho sans: Geogrotesque (Eduardo Manso), in seven weights.
