Russian graphic artist (1886-1964), who made some wwodcut type in the 1920s. Yuri Gordon created FaRer [1996; art deco typeface inspired by the work of Favorsky and Ivan Rerberg (1892-1957), especially by Favorsky's lettering of 1924 and by Rerberg's of 1935.]
