Ok Kyung Yoon

Ok Kyung Yoon (b. 1975, South Korea) works and lives in Paris. After studying at the Fine Art School in Mulhouse, she started as a freelance graphic designer and works in parallel with her studies at the EnsadLab, notably with the institutions of contemporary art like the Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain/FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais in France or La Fundación ArtAids, Barcelona. Speaker at ATypI 2010 in Dublin. In 2009-2010, with fellow ENSAD students Anthony Dathy, Perrine Saint Martin and Timm Borg, she developed a complete family of fonts that extend blackletter and roman typefaces by Ulrich Gering that go back to the 1470s.
