Sridhar Murthy Srikantham
Sridhar Murthy Srikantham is a graphic and type designer, b. 1963, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has a BFA from JNTU, Hyderabad. He created Telugu fonts for the following newspapers: Eenadu (Linotron 202), Vartha Andhara Jyothi, Andhra Bhoomi Sakshi, and Andhra Prabha Prajashakti. He also made Telugu fonts for Microsoft through Modular Infotech, Pune. He designed a typeface for the Naga Tribes called New Script. Speaker at ATypI 2010 in Dublin. Speaker at ATypI 2011 in Reykjavik. M/S Cyberscape Multimedia Limited, Mumbai, are the developers of Akruti Software for Indian Languages. They released a set of truetype fonts for nine Indian scripts (Devanagari, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Oriya, and Gurumukhi) under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
