Rudolph Gnichwitz

Type designer from Ashbourne, PA, who filed some designs with the US patent office. With Edwin C. Ruthven, he created an unnamed border type in 1889 for the Mather Manufacturing Company of Philadelphia. He made a curly Victorian face in 1890. In 1889, he made an art nouveau face.
