Type Factory is Pedro Lobo, a Guimaraes, Portugal-based illustrator and designer. In 2011, he set up Uppertype to sell some of his fonts. Molesk (2011, a free slabby display face) is free. In 2011, he published the extensive fashion mag family Akila, which comes in two subfamilies, Akila Bouma, and Akila Didone, both adorned with refined outlines and high contrast.
