Alex Meier Type designer living and working in Zurich, Switzerland, b. 1971, Männedorf. Alex Meier started out as a multimedia designer. From 2004 to 2006, he studied typography. He studied type design in the CAS Typedesign program at ZHdK in Zurich, where he graduated in 2008. After graduation, he started sharing a studio, Atelier für Schriftgestaltung, with his former fellow student Dominique Kerber. Creator of Minora (2011), an organic contemporary 3-style sans family that extends his work done as a student in 2007 at CAS.
