Zootype Foundry [Luis Alberto Vargas Zuñiga] Chilean type foundry offering both free and commercial fonts. It was founded by Rodrigo Araya Salas and Luis Alberto Vargas Zuñiga (Stigma Studio) in Santiago, Chile, in 2013. Rodrigo Araya Salas is also known in the type community as Rodrigo German, the founder of RAS Design. The name Zootype should not to be confused with the trademarked name of Victor Garcia's award-winning font Linotype Zootype (1997). In fact, it is quite surprising that the Linotype lawyers have not caught up on this. Read up on the history of Victor Garcia's typeface.
