Fette Fraktur

A hugely successful blackletter typeface from Johann Christian Bauer (1850, Bauersche Giesserei) characterized by its f. Other German foundries such as C.E. Weber (1875) and Wagner (1875) had their own versions.

Digital implementations were completed by Linotype, Gerhard Helzel, Adobe, URW++, and Elsner & Flake. Lesser known digital versions are called Fraktur Fett (Greenstreet), Baron&Berliner (Swfte), Bauble (SSi), Luftwaffe (WSI), F692 Blackletter (SoftMaker), Fraktur (SoftMaker) and Frakur No. 2 (2012, SoftMaker).
