Eduscol

Eduscol is a web site of the Ministère d'Éducation Nationale for French educators. In June 2013, a package of school fonts became available for free download. These are serious writing fonts, with and without lines, that cover upright and italic scripts, and connected and unconnected handwriting. The type designers in charge of the development were Marion Andrews, Malou Verlomme and Laurence Bedoin. For samples of Écriture A and Écriture B, and a comparison with existing school fonts, check Modèles d'écriture scolaire (2013), a document issued by the French Ministry of Education.
