ABOUT

German Texier

For a school project, German Texier (Nantes, France) created the hyper-experimental typeface Copernic (2014). He explains: Code alphabet system based on Nicolas Copenic's model for the revolution of the planets. Vowels are represented using the colors of Mercury, Venus, Earth and Saturn, Consonants use the colors of Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. The numbers are modeled on the Roman system and are obtained with an additive to the first letters of the alphabet.
