Design Komando [Jan Buchtela] Jan Buchtela (b. 1988, Mariánské Lázné, Czechia) set up Design Komando in Prague in 2014. He created Moniak Sans in 2014 and wrote: Moniak Sans is a linear, humanist sans with a vertical stress axis. Distinctive for its open strokes, Moniak features generally broader typeface proportions to offer excellent readability even at small sizes.
