Cherie Allan

Brisbane, Australia-based designer of a decorative layered or chromatic typeface in 2014. Cherie writes: Inspired by Palais du Louvre, Pierre Fontaine was known for Empire and Directoire style design and was responsible for restoring the Louvre-Tuileries complex under Charles X and Louis-Philippe until 1848. This work was done while Cherie was studying at Design College Australia.
