Johannes Anker

Born in 1873 in Berlin, Johannes Anker died in 1950 in Hannover. He was a painter, a sculptor and a graphic designer and studied at Kunstgewerbeschule in Berlin, and at Akademie der Künste in Berlin. His typefaces include an Anker Ornament Series (1905) and a Plakette Ornament series (1913), bothe for H. Berthold AG.
