Quinan Old Style
A typeface designed by Frederic Goudy in 1932. D.J.R. Bruckner writes: Named for the editor of The American Mercury, who was looking for a new face for the magazine's heads. Goudy drew the letters for the magazine's consideration, but the design was rejected. The drawings perished in the 1939 fire. |
