Mathieu Triay [Mathieu Loutre] Mathieu Triay (Mathieu Loutre) is a software engineer who studied at University College London and the University of London. In 2017, he designed Marvin Visions to revive the successful avant garde typeface Marvin (1969, Michael Chave, Face Photosetting) for the sci-fi magazine Visions. It also contains Cyrillic. Mathieu explains: The result of that process is a more consistent Marvin. It has larger counters and strong, stable shapes. It's a little more versatile, will look great on screen and in print, and it can be tracked without collapsing. It retains the charm and genial look of its forefather but brings its distinctive feel into the digital world with a bang. Updated in 2018. Unusual and restrictive licensing.
