Daniel Hunyady

As a young artist and film font manufacturer in New York City, Daniel Hunyady (b. 1941) designed the piano key typeface Hunyday Gothic for John N. Schaedler Inc. in 1974. Schaedler suggested the name Hunyady Parquet. That great typeface was digitized in 2017, with Hunyady's permission, by Tobias Herz. Presently, Hunyady runs Hunyady Graphics in West Kill, NY.
