Paul Eslage
Graduate of the Münster School of Design, class of 2014. After his degree he joined Nils Thomsen in his Kiel, Germany, office as TypeMates' first intern. Typefaces at TypeMates designed by Paul Eslage include Halvar Stencil (2019: a German engineering stencil font family by Jakob Runge, Nils Thomsen, Lisa Fischbach and Paul Eslage) and Sombra (2020). Sombra is eccentric, incised, hipsterish and full of contrast. |
