Portland, OR-based handwriting consultants and authors of Earlier, they also published Italic letters: calligraphy and handwriting (1984, New York: Van Nostrand Reinhold Co). WRITE NOW: the Getty-Dubay Program for Handwriting Success (1991), Italic letters: Calligraphy & Handwriting, The Getty-Dubay Italic Handwriting Series for K-6 (Continuing Education Press, 1986, seven workbooks and Instruction Manual), and Getty-Dubay Itali Calligraphy: for School & Home, all published by Handwriting Success. Earlier, they published >Italic letters: calligraphy and handwriting (1984, New York: Van Nostrand Reinhold Co) for the self-teaching of four italic scripts. Three (basic italic, formal italic, and chancery italic) are fairly standard. The fourth style, cursive italic, is designed for use as everyday handwriting.
