ABOUT

XMyriad [Jacob Øvergaard]

The XMyriad PC Truetype family was created by Jacob Øvergaard at FontShop Norway, as an extension of Adobe's Myriad: XMyriadFetItalic, XMyriadFetSmalnetItalic, XMyriadFetSmalnet, XMyriadFet, XMyriadHalvfetItalic, XMyriadHalvfetSmalnetItalic, XMyriadHalvfetSmalnet, XMyriadHalvfet, XMyriadNormalItalic, XMyriadNormalSmalnetItalic, XMyriadNormalSmalnet, XMyriadNormal. As Jacob wrote: These are instances of Adobe's MyriadMM - specially made for the Norwegian Red Cross (hence the X) when they introduced Myriad into their profile. Using MM-fonts in a large office network was not an option, so we made this version for them. It is perfectly legit, but of course only intended for use with work related to the Norwegian Red Cross. They have properly licensed the fonts, and everyone who wants to use XMyriad first have to have a proper license for MyriadMM. For a while these were freely downloadable.
