ABOUT

Cao Fila (was: Amatraca Design Grafico) [Marcelo Sodré]

Cao Fila was set up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, by Marcelo Sodré, who earlier ran Amatraca Design Grafico.

Originally, he designed free fonts, such as Ju Gulart (2012, thin curly face), Tia Marcia (2009, upright script; almost a ronde), FSM Sans (2005), Zoi Mao (2005, handwriting), Mix Serif Condense (2012, pixel font), Fonte Mundo (2014, upright connected script) and Amatraca Grotesque (2014).

His commercial fonts include Setter (2020), a strong slightly rounded casual sans family with large x-height.
