Linus Romer Swiss creator (aka Fuex) of the free calligraphic font Miama (2009, Open Font Library), based upon the handwriting of his (then, girlfriend) wife. Romer is interested in Latex and mathematical typesetting and designed Miama in the spirit of Zapfino and Scriptina. An updated version, Miama Nueva (for Latin and Cyrillic), was developed in 2014, and published by Open Font Lirary. CTAN link. In 2014-2017, he released the free Metafont (and also, Opentype and truetype) typeface, Fetamont. This 436-font parametric typeface extends Knuth's roundish elliptical logo font for Metafont. It includes a true "randomize" feature. Additional CTAN link. In 2017, he developed the free slab serif Funtauna, again basing his glyphs on Metafont.
