Sonja Steiner-Welz Author of Von der Schrift und den Schriftarten (Reinhard Welz Vermittler Verlag, Mannheim). These have a history of type and lettering, instructions on lettering (e.g., stroke guide for Antiqua Majuskeln, Lombardische Versalien, and Gotische Majuskeln), some type specimen (mainly German, from the early part of the 20th century), some alphabets, drawn by her, information on the German school scripts, and a German type and lettering glossary: i, ii, iii, iv. It was probably published between 1956 and 1959. In 2010-2012, Dick Pape created a number of (mostly caps-only) typefaces based on that book.
