Listing of the main commercial type foundries in the world. Their top ten at the end of 2012: b+p swiss typefaces, Colophon Foundry, Commercial Type, Grilli Type, Klim Type Foundry, MilieuGrotesque, Optimo, RP Digital Type Foundry, Typotheque, Village. By 2021, they featured about 350 foundries, mainly from Europe and the Americas. For example, there are only four foundries from Russia, six from Japan and one from Indonesia. |
