Alessandro Congiu

Cagliari, Italy-based designer of the masculine octagonal typeface Qatsi (2014) and the wedgy sans typeface Mezzana (2015). Mezzana is a free font inspired by Corrado Mezzana (1890-1952), an italian artist who designed stamps and award notices in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. The font is also partially based on Paul Renner's Futura and Alessandro Butti and Aldo Novarese's Semplicita. Behance link. Additional link.
