Antonio Sinibaldi
Late fifteenth century Italian renaissance era calligrapher who was based in Florence, and who was famous for his florentine style of antiqua and cancellaresca. His alphabets inspired many typefaces, such as Petrarch (ATF), Sinibaldi (1926, Raffaello Bertieri) and Bologna (1946, Stephenson Blake). Digital typefaces based on his work:
